Familien Stammbaum Praesentation: Now prepare your Family Tree presentations. You will be required to write about 6 members of your real or made up family and present it. You must also create a visual either by drawing your family on a piece of construction paper (no stick figures) or by creating a power point.

Your presentation must describe 6 people in these ways:

I. Sankt Niklaus! 
Sankt Nikolaus Tag ist am 6. Dezember. Wir basteln Stiefel fuer Nikolaus! Bist du brav oder bist du boese? Er bringt dir Bonbons wenn du brav bist :)

Now, let's start making a boot for St. Niklaus. Look at this picture of the pattern and then draw it on a piece of construction paper.

Then, cut the two pieces out - boot and tongue - and decorate. Please put your name on your paper before assembling.

Now, cut the two pieces out. The tongue piece will be taped from the bottom of the heel and will run all the way up to the top of the boot.

Put your boot on the window sill or on the benches in the corner.

II. Geschichte: Wir lesen die Geschichte und beantworten die Fragen. Read the story and answer the questions in your notebooks.

Ich habe eine ganz tolle Familie. Das ist die Familie Rombauer. Mein Opa heisst Ned und er ist 88 Jahre alt. Er wohnt in Detroit und er sieht gern fern und spielt gern Hockey. Er hat eine Glatze und ist sehr sympatisch. Meine Oma heisst Rebecca und sie ist 84 Jahre alt. Sie wohnt in Detroit auch und sie besucht gern ihre Familie. Sie liebt ihre Enkelkinder, Katie und Michael. Sie hat braune lockige Haare, blaue Augen, und rote Lippen. Ich habe einen Bruder. Er heisst Michael und er ist 38 Jahre alt. Er hat braune Haare und bunte blaue Augen. Er ist ein bisschen dick und er ist sehr intelligent. Er spielt gern Schlagzeug. Ich habe zwei Nichten, die Lily und Sophie heissen. Lily hat braune kurze Haare und Sophie hat blonde lockige Haare. Lily ist super intelligent und sie hat Tiere sehr gern. Sophie ist sportlich und hat viele Freunde. Sie sind 5 und 7 Jahre alt. Ich liebe meine Familie!
